Green Year Resolutions

Have you made any resolutions for 2024? Here are some things we can all do to give Kentucky a greener, cleaner future:

  • Talk: You’ve probably heard that one of the most important ways to fight climate change is to talk about it. Especially when those conversations are personal and authentic. Focus on how protecting the environment means protecting something (or someone) you care about.
  • Advocate: Talking with friends and family is a great start, but don’t stop there. Let the elected officials who represent you and the companies you do business with know that sustainability matters to you.
  • Reflect: Take some time to appreciate the beauty of the winter landscape. Let it inspire you for the year to come.

Asking a Different Question

As people of faith working to meet the challenge of climate change, we know what we want from our communities. We want them to sign up and show up. But have we asked ourselves what we want for them? KIPL board member Rev. Jerry Cappel explores that in this new blog post "An Invitation to Renewal."
